The Lake Brush Campground was born out of the dream to be able to find oneself all alone in the middle of nature, several hours walking distance from the nearest point of civilization, but with basic and sufficient comfort, at the gates of the Torres del Paine National Park.
Lake Brush is located on an old path used by the Baqueanos (those who know the region, hunt wild animals and herd cattle), which connects Puerto Toro to present day Villa Serrano. The campground has been set up on a plot of dense forest, impenetrable at certain places. Surrounded by a multitude of ecosystems, (lakes, bogs, forests), its biodiversity and the number of species living there is astounding. A trip to Brush promises a surprising contrast to the Paine Massif and thousands of uninhabited hectares that constitute the pampa.
After several summers of hard work, the Brush Campground comprises a main dome for meals, a kitchen dome for the preparation of meals, sanitary amenities equipped with dry toilets and showers with hot water.
Accommodation is in the form of small cabins able to accommodate two people, and in the mini domes, improved tents in PVC fabric.
Various hikes offer access to the Brush campground, with its varied and largely untrodden landscape, or by waterway in a kayak or dinghy, allowing those who can navigate over water to reach the Torres del Paine National Park.
